Heavenly Pear With Ciel de Charlevoix
Ingredients
- 30 ml (2 tbsp.) Le Ciel de Charlevoix cheese, crumbled
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) butter
- 1 pear, sliced
- 15 ml (1 tbsp.) pear jam
- 5 ml (1 tsp.) fresh thyme, chopped
- Bread chosen: Brioche roll
Preparation
Melt the butter in a frying pan and cook the pear slices until golden. Add the pear jam and thyme.
Slice the roll open. Fill with the pear filling and add the cheese. Cover with the other roll half.
Suggestion
Try this recipe with: Bleu Bénédictin or Ermite.
Accompaniments
These wines are set apart by their sugar content. The dominant scent is fruity. Some are lighter (semi-dry), and others are more full-bodied (sweet).
